The Group’s origins
Dauphine Isolation, the company from which DI Environnement emerged, was founded in Montélimar in 1987 by Frédéric and Rodolphe ROSATI. Hailing from a family of building contractors, the twin brothers innovated in the insulation sector by offering the first spray-on applications.
In the years that followed, Dauphiné Isolation became a benchmark in sprayed thermal insulation and fireproofing, thanks in particular to innovation in the products applied and the equipment used, which enabled it to successfully take on the challenges posed by the new standards coming out at the time. In parallel, society was faced with a new problem on renovation sites: asbestos.
Determined to bring this risk under control, and offer an all-encompassing service, Dauphiné Isolation conducted its first asbestos removal project in 1995, at a time when asbestos removal was unheard of in France. To accomplish this task, Dauphiné Isolation designed dedicated equipment – the first of its kind at the time – and developed procedures in collaboration with health and prevention bodies.
The specificities of the two trades — asbestos removal and insulation — prompted Frédéric and Rodolphe ROSATI to create independent structures, DI Environnement and DI Projection, which have become leaders in their respective areas.
Today, headed by Frédéric and Hugo ROSATI, DI Environnement is a family-owned company, a recognised specialist in pollution control with substantial and unique resources in its sector.
Our company continues to innovate by designing and assembling its own generic or specific equipment in our Montélimar workshop.
With nearly 26 locations and offices, we are able to provide locally in France, but also to operate internationally when our customers so request, or in the context of large-scale projects.
A trailblazer in asbestos removal at the start, we have developed into a benchmark player in all areas and all forms of remediation, and continue to specialise in a number of sub-areas to serve our entire field of activity with ever-greater command.
